Three Muses - Long ago

This week's theme at The Three Muses is Long ago and far away. I chose the Long ago part of the challenge and made this vintage tag. The background is made with distress inks. The men in the upper right corner are from Art Declassified, the handwriting and the Palermo ticket are from PaperArtsy. The man in the front is a rub-on.

Het thema van deze week bij The Three Muses is Long ago and far away. I heb gekozen voor het Long ago gedeelte van de uitdaging en deze vintage tag gemaakt. De achtergrond is gemaakt met distress inkt. De heren in de rechterbovenhoek zijn van Art Declassified, het handschrift en het Palermo ticket zijn van PaperArtsy. De man op de voorgrond is een rub-on.

Bald is beautiful

This week's theme at The Three Muses is Head with Hair. As you may see on my photo, there is not much hair left on my head, so it is time to make a statement: Bald is Beautiful! The hair on this tag is made with structure pasta and coloured with acrylic paint. I used white and silver Dabbers to colour the background of the tag, before inking it with Adirondack Stream. This gives a glossy effect, which is of course totally lost in the scan :-). The eyes, the bald man, and the text are stamped in black.

Het thema van deze week bij The Three Muses is Head with Hair. Zoals je kunt zien op de foto hiernaast heb ik niet veel haar meer op mijn hoofd, dus is het tijd voor een statement: Bald is Beautiful! Het haar op deze tag heb ik gemaakt met structuurpasta en gekleurd met acrylverf. Met witte en zilveren Dabbers heb ik de achtergrond van de tag gekleurd. Daarna blauw gemaakt met Adirondack Stream inkt. Dit geeft een glossy effect, dat natuurlijk totaal verloren gaat in de scan :-). De ogen, de kale(nde) man en de tekst zijn gestempeld met zwarte inkt.

TMTA - Big cities

This week's challenge at Think Monday - Think ATC is to make an ATC about a big city. I chose London, and added a few items that came into my mind thinking of this city: the Tower Bridge, driving left, the warning on every street to look right, and of course, it always rains (which is true just as in Holland everyone walks on wooden shoes :-)). The man with umbrella is from Stampers Anonymous. The Tower Bridge is from Creative Imaginations.

Deze week zijn grote steden het onderwerp voor Think Monday - Think ATC. Ik heb gekozen voor Londen, en heb in deze ATC een paar dingen verwerkt die direct bij mij opkwamen toen ik aan Londen dacht: de Tower Bridge, links rijden, de waarschuwing op iedere straathoek om rechts te kijken, en natuurlijk, dat het altijd regent. Dit laatste is net zo waar als dat alle Nederlanders op klompen lopen :-). De man met de paraplu is van Stampers Anonymous. De Tower Bridge is van Creative Imaginations.

Three Muses - Numerology

This week's challenge at The Three Muses is Numerology. For this tag I used Dabbers in the colors Willow, Pool and Silver. The numbers are masks from Tim Holtz Idea-oloy, the boy is from Stampers Anonymous. The letters are from Heidi Swapp. To let the numbers stand out a bit more, I outlined them with a red pen.

De uitdaging van deze week van The Three Muses is Numerology. De tag heb ik gekleurd met Dabbers in de kleuren Willow, Pool en Silver. De getallen zijn masks van Tim Holtz Idea-oloy, de jongeman is van Stampers Anonymous. De letters zijn van Heidi Swapp. Om de getallen iets meer op te laten vallen heb ik ze omrand met een rode pen.

Three Muses - Window

I created this tag for the windows challenge of The Three Muses. First, I created a scenery using Stampscapes stamps and water-colored it using Zig brush markers. The window is cut from Grunge Paper, colored with Adirondack inks and embossed with the Cuttlebug. The background is made from various scrap papers.

Deze tag heb ik gemaakt voor de windows uitdaging van The Three Muses. Eerst heb ik een scenery gemaakt met Stampscapes stempels en ingekleurd met Zig brush markers. Het raam heb ik geknipt uit Grunge Paper, gekleurd met Adirondack inkten en daarna ge-embossed met de Cuttlebug. Voor de achtergrond heb ik restjes design papier gebruikt.

Three Muses - Pockets

This tag was created for the pockets challenge of The Three Muses. The background is colored with various Adirondack inks. The music staff is a mask from Tim Holtz Idea-ology. The musician is from the Dali plate of Cherry Pie, that I stamped on grungeboard. The quote is a Dutch cliché: nobody gets a program for the concert of life.

Deze tag heb ik gemaakt voor de pockets uitdaging van The Three Muses. De achtergrond heb ik gekleurd met verschillende Adirondack inkten. De notenbalk is een mask van Tim Holtz Idea-ology. De cellist is een stempel van de Dali plate van Cherry Pie die ik op grungeboard gestempeld heb.
