Three Muses - Nature

The challenge for this week at The Three Muses is Nature. For this challenge I collected a leaf in autumn colors, some flowers and a butterfly rub-on from our large pile of embellishments. The background is made with distress inks. The reeds are embossed with distress powder. The sentiment on the leaf is from PaperArtsy.

Het thema van deze week bij The Three Muses is Nature. Voor deze uitdaging heb ik uit onze grote stapel van embelishments een herfstblad, bloemen en een vlinder rub-on gehaald. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met distress inkten. Het riet is gemaakt met distress embossing poeder. De tekst op het blad is een stempel van PaperArtsy.

Three Muses - Postage stamps

The challenge for this week at The Three Muses is Postage Stamps. The postage stamps on this tag are from Crafty Individuals. I coloured them with red, blue and green Adirondack inks. The background is coloured with cranberry and watermelon and silver Dabbers. I made this tag during a crafting day with some friends. They were working on a metal art project. Therefore, I decided to add some metal art in the lower right corner of this tag.

Het thema van deze week bij The Three Muses is Postage stamps. De postzegels op deze tag zijn stempels van Crafty Individuals die ik ingekleurd heb met rode, blauwe en groene Adirondack inkt. De achtergrond heb ik gekleurd met dabbers (cranberry, watermelon en zilver). Ik heb deze tag gemaakt tijdens een hobby dag met enkele vrienden. Zij waren bezig met een metal art project. Daarom vond ik het leuk om rechtsonder op de tag ook een stukje metaal te verwerken.

Three Muses - Quote

The challenge for this week at The Three Muses is Quote or Quip. On this tag I used one of my favourite quotes. Creating anything with paper, ink and stamps really clears my mind and helps me to escape from work after a busy working day.

The numbers in the upper left corner of this tag represent the busy life during working hours. By stamping them in brown they seem to be "washed away" by the other elements.

Het thema van deze week bij The Three Muses is Quote or Quip. Voor deze tag heb ik een van mijn favoriete quote stempels gebruikt. Bezig zijn met papier, inkt en stempels maakt mijn hoofd leeg en zorgt ervoor dat ik tot rust kom na een drukke werkdag. Het werkt echt!

De getallen linksboven op deze tag staan voor de drukte tijdens het werk. Door ze in bruin te stempelen lijken ze weggevaagd te worden door de andere elementen op de tag.

The challenge for this week at The Three Muses is Something in the Air. This challenge again offers a great opportunity to create a scenery! The birds are from Cherry Pie, the trees and clouds are from Stampscapes. Everything is colored with Adirondack inks using s stipple brush.

Het thema van deze week bij The Three Muses is Something in the Air. Dit is opnieuw een prachtige gelegenheid om een scenery te maken! De vogels zijn van Cherry Pie, de bomen en de wolken zijn stempels van Stampscapes. Alles is gekleurd met Adirondack inkt (getamponneerd met een grote ronde kwast).

The challenge for this week at The Three Muses is Water. This challenge offers a great opportunity to create a scenery! The bird is from Cherry Pie, all other stamps are from Stampscapes. Everything is colored with Adirondack inks using s stipple brush.

Het thema van deze week bij The Three Muses is Water. Dit is een prachtige gelegenheid om weer eens een scenery te maken! De vogel is van Cherry Pie, alle andere stempels zijn van Stampscapes. Alles is gekleurd met Adirondack inkt (getamponneerd met een grote ronde kwast).

Winter / Newspaper

It is all snow and winter these weeks, and it looks like it is not over yet. I used a recent newspaper article as background of this ATC. The winter images are taken in Berlin (upper left), Beijing (lower left), UK (upper right) and Nebraska (lower right). The snow man is from Tim Holtz. I made this ATC for the Newspaper challenge of Think Monday - Think ATC and for the Winter swap of the Creative_Chaos group.

Het is al vier weken sneeuw en winter en het lijkt voorlopig nog niet voorbij. Deze zeer actuele ATC heeft als achtergrond een deel van een artikel uit de NRC van 8 januari met winterse foto's genomen in Berlijn (linksboven), Peking (linksonder), Engeland (rechtsboven) en Nebraska (rechtsonder). De sneeuwman is van Tim Holtz. Deze ATC heb ik gemaakt voor het Newspaper thema van Think Monday - Think ATC en voor de Winter swap van de Creative_Chaos groep.
